This carabiner is recommended for belaying or participant hook up and is a Triact lock. (3 stage). The asymmetrical aluminum Am'D carabiner has a D shape particularly suited for connection to diverse equipment such as descenders or positioning lanyards. It has a Keylock system for ease of use and prevents the carabiner nose getting caught on systems.
